There are Two Options to Move from Blogger to WordPress
- The Good Way: this option is the best choice if you want to preserve your traffic and search engine rankings. Your permalinks on WordPress will match your permalinks from Blogger, helping to preserve pagerank and search engine rankings and maintain traffic volume. If your Blogger blog has a good deal of traffic or search engine rankings, this is the option to choose. Please note: if your Blogger blog is currently on a subdomain of blogspot (yoursite.blogspot.com), this option can take 30 days or longer to complete properly. If your Blogger blog has been on your own domain (yoursite.com) for some time, this delay does not apply. For this to work properly, your new blog needs to be in the root of your site (yoursite.com), not in a subdirectory (yoursite.com/blog). Contact us with any questions you may have before ordering.
- The Fast Way: this option is only recommended for blogs with little search engine traffic or rankings or when you just don’t care and need to move it now! It is a simple transfer of posts, comments and users from Blogger to WordPress. Permalink structure and redirection is ignored so traffic and search engine rankings may be lost.
